The HI 98127B is a portable waterproof pH and temperature meter with a replaceable electrode and automatic temperature compensation.

Featuring a large LCD screen, the tester provides pH and temperature readings in an ergonomically designed casing. A special stability function indicates when the meter is ready to take a reading, and features a hold function to freeze the screen while results are recorded.

The HI 98127B tester functions in temperatures of -5.0 to 60.0 degrees C / 23.0 to 140.0 degrees F (+ or - 0.5 degrees C / + or - 1 degrees F), and has a range of -2.0 to 16.0 pH (+ or - 0.1) with a resolution of 0.1 pH. Calibration is automatic, at one or two points with two sets of memorized buffers (pH 4.01/7.01/10.01 or pH 4.01/6.86/9.18). The dimensions are 163 x 40 x 26 mm (6.4 x 1.6 x 1.0") and it weighs only 100 g (3.5 oz.), a conveniently sized meter for taking measurements in the field.
